The United States Supreme Court ruled on the initial round of litigation on SB1070, the Arizona anti-illegal immigration law. As soon as the ruling came out, Obama had a very predictable action.
What was it and what does it all mean?
As soon as the ruling came out and the ruling was a partial victory for Arizona, Obama immediately sent Janet Napolitano out and she announced that the Federal Government was terminating all agreements with Arizona where the Federal Government partnered with Arizona to help combat illegal immigration. The Department of Homeland Security was also ordered not to take most of Arizona’s calls on cases involving illegal immigration.
Obama threw a temper tantrum because he did not win totally.
Arizona immediately announced it would proceed with the parts of the law that are allowed to go into effect.
Obama has put his reelection above the safety of Americans.
Of course, Obama is not a real American. Real Americans care about the safety and security of this nation and their neighbors.
Along the border, illegal aliens crossing their land repeatedly victimize ranchers. Their property is stolen. Their property is vandalized. In some cases, Americans are murdered by illegals.
For Arizona, the prospects are horrifying. Just south of the border is an almost totally lawless area, where gruesome killings are a matter of course. The first indications of violence spilling over the border have already been seen.
There are some parts of Arizona where American citizens cannot go. These areas are controlled by the drug cartels.
Part of America is controlled by a foreign interest and Obama’s reaction was to send signs warning Americans not to go into those areas.
How about sending in the Army?
Arizona was admitted to the Union in 1912. One hundred years ago.
If the legislators of territory of Arizona in the early 1900’s had any clue what would be happening only one hundred years later, I seriously have to wonder if they would have become a state.
The Constitution is not only a governing document for America it is a contract. The Federal Government does not merely exist to rule. Its primary duty is to provide for the common defense.
The United States is not defending Arizona against foreign enemies and what could arguably be called a foreign invasion.
Obama does not care about this. His goal is to bring down America.
Arizona is in a tough position. The government is not only not protecting the citizens of Arizona, but is aiding those who want to invade our nation and violate our laws.
Arizona certainly has to consider its options. If the Federal Government will not defend Arizona against a foreign invasion, what good is the government?
If Arizona decided they needed to protect themselves and leave the Union because the government is not providing for the common defense, well at this point, who could blame them?
Not me.

Permalink Reply by Mike Foil on A lot of fault must land in the laps of the legislators. There is a simple solution when a president usurps power and acts as Obama has. It is called "checks and balances". It is the job of the legislature to impeach such a president.
The legislature also has another tool to use, which they have not. "The power of the purse". They appear too afraid to throw any hard punches. Since it is their constitutional duty to determine the budget, they hold considerable power which they refuse to yield. When Obama oversteps his legit powers, he should be defunded. The House should go over the budget, line-by-line and only fund proper projects. They should stop just considering the bottom line, which lets BO spend it however he wants.
Hey, it's our money, not his! We elect representatives to protect us from such as this man, it is time they did their jobs.

Harry Reid and the democrats in the senate refuse to obey the law and pass a budget. The government is, and has been by corrupt design and intent, operating under continuing resolutions which are not subject to legislative cuts.
Folks, when an entire congressional delegation of one of our two "national" political parties engages in lawlessness, we must have the States asserting their constitutional role under the 10th amendment.
Arizona has been told by the executive and judicial branches, and one chamber of the congress - the senate, that they refuse to perform their constitutional duty to defend Arizona and her citizens and residents from foreign invasion and from murder, rape, and mayhem!
For any sane human being to assert that the government, and people of Arizona, are powerless to lawfully defend their life and property ... is patently ABSURD!
Consider the absurdity of the current situation: federal lawlessness is telling Arizonans they dare not defend themselves, as is their unalienable RIGHT and as is their RIGHTS under the 10th amendment.
Governor Janet Brewer MUST call the Arizona Legislature into emergency session for the purpose of unified or at least lawful majority ACTIONS to defend their people and property.
A Constitutional CRISIS already exists, both nationally and specifically in Arizona. It is PAST time this CRISIS was moved from the Blogosphere to the front page of every newspaper in these united States, and every radio and television network.

Permalink Reply by Joel Garcia on The Mexican Army has crossed the border into Arizona at least 250 times in the last 3-4 yrs. That is an invasion and we should retaliate. I live on the border (El Paso). A few years ago, the FBI set up a sting to catch ilegals who were crossing the river to break into loaded boxcars parked on a railroad siding. They contained valuable goods made in Mexico such as TV sets, computers, etc. There was a battle and two agents - one man and one woman - were captured and taken across the river into Mexico. Their fellow agents gathered a group of officers and crossed the border and rescued the two agents, who were so beat up they spent 2 weeks in a coma. Are you ready for the outcome? Mexico filed a protest with the State Dept. saying that their sovereignty had been violated, and we apologized. How is that for "speak softly but carry a big stick" diplomacy. Did you read about it in the media? HELL NO!

I was a journalist for United Press International - I would have been fired on the spot if I wrote like these people do now. we were expected to report the true happenings. no longer. you get better news about what happens in this country from foreign papers.
the intrusions of the mexican army is well known and probably encouraged by the present resident in the white house. will he be reelected? of course, because we cannot enforce voter ID - actually we don't have any.
fear of deportation has kept a lot of these intruders underground - like it should be. they don't belong here. now they can harrass us because they are the preferred class of people, protected by non-enforcing of our laws.
when my family was still "alien residents" - legally admitted to this country but not yet citizents - we had to prove that we had paid our taxes by providing the INS (a functioning agency at that time) with notarized copies of our tax returns BEFORE we were readmitted to this country. and we travelled abroad frequently. now WE are the ones being frisked, touched and humilated before we leave and when we come back and nobody is being asked if they enter here legally or not.

He has choose to use his power to undermine our laws to help his special interests and to make sure he increase people who will keep him in power. If our government leaders do not stop Obama from not enforcing our laws( which he took a oath to do) and put his own in place, we do not have a Pres. he has declared himself a King.

The only part that pisses me off after he's gone is that my tax dollar is going to pay for this jerks secret service detail for life, along with free medical care, and a pension.
If I had my way I'd brain wipe him so he cannot sell any secrets that would harm national security, because given the chance he will. Then I'd kick his and Moochele's butts out of this country with no compensation of any kind.

We no longer have a Republic nor do we really have a Democracy. In fact, it is a real stretch to call the institution that we now have in the District of Columbia by the name of United States Federal Government. We have a pathocracy that has confirmed kleptocratic tendencies.
