Anyone think the Alvin Greene democratic primary result is a test case...

to see if the dems can get away with election fraud?

If they did, it could be ingenious.  They could entrap the repubs into protesting any recount without sufficient evidence to warrant it.  Of course, the repubs would love to run against such a terrible opponent and might protest a recount by the dems.  Then, in the mid-terms, if the dems were able to pull off the same feat in elections across the country, the dems would use the republican precedent to argue against any recounts where dem candidates were "surprise" winners.

But maybe I'm just getting too paranoid!

We do have to be careful not to go tilting at windmills, but you never can tell with libs. It is interesting that they blamed the election of Green on a Republican conspiracy. Classic liberal tactic is to accuse opposition of doing whatever it is that they themselves are doing.

Unfortunately, without witnesses or someone coming forward or something, there is no way to tell what's going on. It's not outside the realm of possibility that the libs really did elect Green without any kind of behind the scenes string pulling. We can't go out and accuse the libs of it because there is no proof. There would have to be a really strong case for it to hold water with the public.

If the Republicans wanted to, they might make a statement about how odd the election was and say something about how the machines should be examined or something. If your theory is correct, then they could leave themselves an excuse to challenge future elections without specifically accusing the left of doing anything.
I have thought it was a test run for future elections fraud also.
