What is it about the liberals in blue states? They hate the American dream. They hate anyone who wants to embrace the American dream. They want to destroy the American dream.
If they had their way, America would look much like the old Soviet Union.
Another blue state is trying to absolutely destroy the American dream and the wealth of Americans that live in that state.
Which one is it and what are they doing to kill the American dream?
It is New Jersey.
Two card-carrying members of the Party of Treason and New Jersey State Legislators have proposed an epic disaster of a bill. The bill is called the New Jersey Residential Foreclosures Transformation Act.
What this bill does is create a new government entity called the New Jersey Foreclosure Relief Corporation. It would be a “temporary” government agency. Of course, when was the last time any government agency, once created, was “temporary.”
This new office would be tasked with using government money to buy houses that are in foreclosure and then put those houses to use by the state. In other words, they’ll still foreclose, but they’ll turn that house into public housing.
If the red alert lights are not going off now, they should.
You should have visions of Ronald Reagan saying, “The most terrifying words in the English language are, I’m from the government and I am here to help.”
If you are a homeowner in New Jersey, which one of the highest foreclosure rates in the nation, the Party of Treason has a great surprise in store for you.
If you own a home in New Jersey, odds are some homes in your neighborhood are in foreclosure. It doesn’t matter how nice of a neighborhood you live in, under the New Jersey Foreclosure Transformation Act, the government will buy any home that is in foreclosure and has not been sold within 45 days. 45 days is a joke. No house in foreclosure is going to be sold that quickly.
That means the New Jersey government is going to be buying a lot of houses.
What are they going to do with these houses?
What do you think?
You may live in a nice neighborhood but what do you think the politicians will do with the foreclosed houses the state buys in your neighborhood? The politicians in New Jersey are going to import low-income housing to your neighborhood. Does anyone voluntarily live in a neighborhood with Section 8 housing?
Not if they have a choice.
Now with this bill, when New Jersey buys homes, they are going to have to do something with them. So who really believes they will not start making many of these homes low-income homes.
As the old saying goes, “There goes the neighborhood.”
Oh but wait, this gets even better.
What are some of the other wonderful uses the New Jersey State Government will come up with for these homes?
How about residential drug treatment centers. Yes, New Jersey homeowner, your new neighbor could be the home to a transient group of hopefully recovering crack heads. And if they lose their sobriety, well, you could lose some of your hard earned property
Or maybe the your state government will make that new home a half way house for convicts just being released from prison; or even better, residential housing for sex offenders.
Foreclosures do enough damage to a neighborhood and we can thank people like Christopher Dodd, Barney Frank and other members of the Party of Treason for the mortgage meltdown.
This lunatic plan would totally destroy the value of homes owned by anyone in New Jersey.
The fact this bill has even been introduced and is getting serious consideration from the New Jersey state legislature should be enough to inspire any sane person left in New Jersey to try and sell their house as quickly as possible and get out of New Jersey as quickly as possible.
Of course, I like to look on the bright side. This will be yet another blue state whose primary exports will be wealth, jobs and businesses.
Keep up the good work New Jersey.

Permalink Reply by Norma J. Sears on June 19, 2012 at 9:21am The citizens of New Jersey must stand together and fight against this. We, who live in other states can provide a warning but the fight is in their corner.
Such problems occur in conservative bastions, like Huntsville, Alabama!
New, high-end condo developments fell into receivership in wealthy South-East Huntsville a couple years or so ago...the city bought 'em up and turned them into public housing. Pretty snazzy, with private pools and everything!
The district schools were by far the best in the State. No school buses. Private transportation of all students helped to maintain a bit of elite status, while diverting all transportation allocations to directly to education. Predictably, the city began busing in kids from "the other side of the tracks"!
Those "in the know" reacted early, by moving elsewhere. Before the local housing market crashed....
My daughter and her family came out just fine by reacting quickly to this "wealth sharing" scheme....Thanks for asking, though!

Or for that matter what America will look like if the socialists have their way. Take a good hard look at Detroit and Michigan. This once great state and top ten city are now in ruins because of the socialist agenda
Permalink Reply by judy horn on June 19, 2012 at 9:36am I lived in NJ. The taxes are unbearable and so in 2002 we left! Our property taxes alone were 17,000. They are loosing millions of dollars in revenue as companies are fleeing to Pa. to do business. God forbid they should focus on how to attract companies to stay in the state, therefore people have jobs, and hence foreclosures would not be at such a high rate. And the comment about residents feel helpless against the goverment in the state, it's true, you do. Even local goverments just raise taxes out of no where. NJ just sucks the life out of those of us who work! How are such idots elected? Judy H
The way the progressives are elected is through the large cities like Newark, Jersey City, Paterson and others where illegal immigrants get the chance to vote often.
The election board of Paterson was jailed for fraud in 2010. There's a revolving door. Out they come back to their same jobs and the cycle continues.
We also have many transplants from NYC, another bastion of progressivism. That's the answer.
Permalink Reply by Jeff Waller on June 19, 2012 at 10:06am In effect, this would be a perpetual bailout. Property goes into foreclosure...gov't buys it...cuts the sales price and then either gives it back to the people who didn't make their payments in the first place or else gives it to illegal aliens who can't afford the maintenance and taxes much less pay the note, and who only want a part of the "American Dream", which is quickly becoming the "Global Dream".

Permalink Reply by Katie Kalpin on June 19, 2012 at 10:30am Laura, that's not really fair to say that. Think about all of those Patriots that are forced to live in that Garbage state and are out numbered. Like those in Cali and NY and so on, they are fighting the best that they can to stop junk like this from happening, but there are just not enough of them. I am hoping that those that think being on the left is the smart thing to do..learn from all of this and see how much they suffer. I doubt it though, liberals are think headed. lol.
It sounds like the New Jersey Democrats got sucked into one of those late night "Get Rich Quick Buying Foreclosures" courses. 8^)
Permalink Reply by Albert M. Bryson on June 19, 2012 at 10:31am This is outrageous. A thousand dollar fine for not seat belting your dog in your car. That law goes to go. It proves that Governor Christie is all voice and terrible in action. Apparently the politicians are becoming very creative in raising revenue. They want everything we have. We all be poor except for the elites (The 1%). We need to wake up and deal with elite concept of rule.

End of law.
