An American killed by Mexican Pirates and Obama doesn't care
David Hartley was murdered two days ago. This news has not been picked up widely in the mainstream media, but the conservative alternative media has spoken about it quite a bit.
Hartley and his wife went out on jet skis on Lake Falcon, which is on the Texas Mexican border. The Hartley's crossed into Mexican territory to view a partially sunken church. On the way back to American territory, Mexican pirates attacked the couple. David Hartley was shot in the back on the head and is presumed dead. His wife escaped from Mexican territory, back to the American side of the lake. According to witnesses, the Mexican pirates followed her for a significant distance into American territory.
As of this writing, Hartley's body has not been found. American authorities cannot cross into Mexican territory and the Mexican government seems to be doing nothing about it.
Authorities in Texas have issued repeated warnings about the danger of crossing over to the Mexican side of the lake. Now, some Texans are warning people to stay off the lake in its entirety, due to the actions of Mexican pirates.
When a crime is committed in America against a Mexican illegally in this country, the screaming starts. We hear about it in the main stream media, the Mexican government raises hell and our government falls all over itself to appease the Mexican government and the illegal amnesty crowd.
In this case, an American is dead. There is nothing from the Mexican government. According to published reports, they are not even trying to recover the body. The American government is not doing anything to protect American citizens. Falcon Lake is not an isolated incident. In Arizona, signs have gone up warning people not to travel in certain parts of the state because of armed drug traffickers from south of the border.
Meanwhile, David Hartley's body may never be recovered and his widow may never be able to give him a funeral. Meanwhile, Obama sits in Washington, doing nothing to protect America from the lawless violence of Mexico, that keeps working its way north.

My thoughts are it should have been a collaborated military effort from Mexico and the USA to tackle this problem
you can't just poke at a wasp nest and take out the top wasp you need to knock down the whole hive and stomp
on it until it's destroyed .
Mass military invasion take them out fast and hard restore order "problem solved".

I agree 100% - this could and should have been dealt with long before now. The only thing standing in the way is politics. Crazy. Where's there line in the sand? These Cartels need some Shock and Awe. Wonder whose pockets they are lining.

What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

On Friday August 13, 2010 President Obama signed into law a $600 million Border Protection Bill to pay for 1,500 new border agents, additional unmanned surveillance drones and new Border Patrol stations along the southwest border.
Obama, has already deported more illegal immigrants in the last year than former President Bush did in any year.
Please get your facts straight or it makes you look like you don't know what your talking about.

You can complain about Obama all you want, but please use facts to do it instead of hyperbole like Obama doesn't care that an American was killed and he's not doing anything to protect the borders, because it's not true and is a silly thing to say. There are plenty of real things you can criticze Obama for.

While Obama may have signed the $600 million in the border patrol bill and sent 1000 agents in that direction, it is the proverbial bandaid on a hemorraghing artery.
The millions of dollars that have NOT been spent on building the fence, stepping up patrols on key Arizona border crossing sites and freeing up the existing border patrol to "shoot at will" anyone crossing over the border... still leaves us vulnerable as ever. Bush didn't do anything to help this mess, Obama threw them a bone.
Again Read Corsi's Late Great USA to understand the "WHY" of the hemoragghing borders and WHY ICE and the feds are NOT doing there job. It's all political and one more nudging technique towards the NOrth American "Community".
