The world has gone mad, or at least parts of our country.
In a sane world certain things make sense. You fight to win. You fight because you are right. You do not let thugs; bandits, criminals and bullies dictate what you do or how you fight.
This is particularly true when you are the United States of America.
Yet the most powerful nation in the world is acting like a country that is either insane or has a suicide wish.
Only a few short days ago, American forces killed the most wanted man in the world. After the raid that killed him, we took Osama bin Laden’s body with us, back to a U.S. Navy warship. Instead of cleaning him up, like we did the son’s of Sadam Hussein, so we could present proof positive that we had killed him; he was quickly buried at sea, allegedly in accordance with Islamic sensibilities.
We are at war with at least radical Islam, if not Islam itself. We are told repeatedly that Bin Laden is not a true Muslim, yet we have to give him a Muslim funeral and the need to do that trumps all other considerations?
Today, Obama has announced America will not release the photos of a dead Osama. Why? Once again, we are afraid of offending Muslim sensibilities. When have Muslims ever been afraid of offending American sensibilities? Again, the desire not to offend “Muslim sensibilities” over rules much more important considerations.
In the last few days some other disturbing facts have come to the public light, though thanks to the killing of Bin Laden, they have mostly few under the radar.
In researching his book, “Mastermind,” about 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammad, Richard Minter discovered that the American flag is no longer raised anywhere on Guantanamo where detainees can see it.
That’s right. We are not raising the American flag at an American base because we do not want to “offend” the detainees. Most Americans are pretty offended by terrorism and 9/11. That apparently does not bother the government but God forbid we should offend some third world savages that want nothing more than to totally destroy America. What idiot made that decision?
Perhaps the most shocking revelation in the book came as a discussion about some of the inner fighting in the White House between Rahm Emanuel and Eric Holder. Emanuel wisely decided the White House did not want to risk offending the CIA and would quietly abandon any promises it had made to the liberal fringe about prosecuting CIA interrogators.
While Eric Holder, the Attorney General wanted to prosecute the CIA interrogators who had generated information that saved this country from attack several times, yet he wanted to extend every legal courtesy to Khalid Sheik Mohammad and certain he had a trial in civilian courts, where he could turn a trial into the theatre of the absurd. Holder wanted to give one of the greatest terrorists of the century a forum so he could spout his jihadist rhetoric and where he could try to use his conviction and execution as a call for jihad.
Real Americans love their country. Real Americans want to see their country prevail. Real Americans love their countrymen who sacrifice so much to make this country free.
Obama and his regime are not real Americans. And with Obama and his team at the helm of government, it is a world gone mad.

It would appear to be perfectly acceptable to offend Christians and Jews. When are we going to get some leaders that are not jelly spined PC types. Radical Muslims view our literally bending over not to offend as weakness.

Permalink Reply by Don Dunaway on Any emotional response to a factual reality is misdirected effort and actually hinders taking effective action. We have been trained through TV, misguided parents, all branches of all media, and especially the dominators in our society and lives to respond emotionally to every happenstance; simply because by doing so we are less likely to make any kind of rational response and interfere with their comfort zone. Emotional thinking and rational thinking are mutually exclusive and if we opt for the first that forecloses any possibility of the latter. If any emotional exercise would have kept us from being in the mess we are in, I feel sure we would be in one of another kind.
People! This is a time for rational thought, persevering dedication to something that will help our situation, and an objective, realistic view of just what that might be. The founders of our nation, when the Nation's prospects were dimmer than they are now, pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to the concept of liberty, self-rule and personal accountability. Judson is doing exactly that; leading from up front by example. If we find it convenient to do less we do not deserve the Republic our founders gave us and you will see it vanish before your very own eyes.
If you have not responded, or refuse to respond, to Judson's appeal for financial support, get ready to watch it disappear. Remember the old adage from Chicago; "Money talks, Bovine Scatology walks." So while posting our thoughts for world wide scrutiny may give us a dose of the warm and fuzzies, it is USD in generous amounts, that will make only the slightest difference.
