Yesterday, the Tea Party won but we did not have a victory.

How do you have a win without a victory?  What must we do to make sure there is a victory?

Ted Cruz won in Texas last night but did not have a victory.  His fight against David Dewhurst goes to the next stage.  To win last night, Cruz needed to force Dewhurst, who has been described by newspapers as “spook, weird and rich,” into a run off election.

Under Texas law, if no candidate gets 50% of the vote, the top two finishers go into a runoff.

Last night, Dewhurst one 44% of the vote while Cruz got 34%.   There will now be a runoff on June 29th

Dewhurst is a multimillionaire.  There is nothing wrong with that but he wants to be a United States Senator simply because he wants to be.  In his mind, that is what rich guys do.

As Lieutenant Governor in Texas, although he is a Republican, he has been working with Democrats to stymie conservative legislation.  Tea Party groups in Texas have no use for Dewhurst.   Dewhurst stooped to the point of lying about Ted Cruz and his record.

If a candidate is so desperate that he must lie about his opponent, he is someone we do not want in office.   If elected, Dewhurst will simply be another one of those RINOs who reaches across the aisle to help liberals advance their agenda and doing nothing to advance a conservative agenda.

We must help him win on June 29th.

Unfortunately for Cruz, for the moment his race must go to the back burner.   On June 5th the Wisconsin recall votes will be held.  While Governor Scott Walker looks like he is in good shape, we must help Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch retain her office.  Her race is much closer.  While Kleefisch has been out helping to recruit new businesses for Wisconsin, Mahon Mitchell her opponent was out trying to get businesses to boycott Wisconsin.

In New Mexico on June 5th, the Senate primary will be held featuring conservative Greg Sowards is taking on walking election disaster Heather Wilson.   If Sowards can beat Wilson in the primary, he has a chance of taking that seat.  Otherwise, the scandal plagued, RINO Wilson will manage to lose another one for the GOP.

Speaking of election disasters, Tea Party activist and Virginia Republican Senate Candidate Jamie Radtke has released a new ad that takes apart George Allen.

Allen is the former Senator who managed to lose what should have been a sure reelection bid in 2006.   The ad features Allen stumbling and bumbling as he tries to explain why he repeatedly voted to raise his salary.

Allen created a media firestorm in 2006 when he called a Democrat tracker, “Maccaca.”   This was turned into a claim that Allen was a racist.

Jamie Radtke is a great conservative who Tim Kaine, the presumptive Democrat candidate is afraid of.

This is the year of the Tea Party Senator.   We need to make certain Ted Cruz, Greg Sowards and Jamie Radtke win their primaries and then win this fall.

This year, failure is not an option.

To win a war you must FIGHT!!  Carry ON!!

Over the weekend I made some calls for Ted Cruz from my home phone to Republican voters in Texas.  I talk for a living so it seemed natural to just talk to the people or leave a message on their machines.  The process is simple and automated, you can do it, give it a try!  Since I have it I'll get the URL and post it for Cruz in a few minutes.  Ok, this one will let you volunteer or donate:  www.tedcruz.org/home/

Thanks.

Music to my ears. The inroads we have made are starting to show more each day but we must continue to push until the government is neutralized and we the people are back in the driver's seat.

The words, "Failure is not an option" are my kind of thinking. Continue to march. WE CAN _ WE WILL

Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful) (my motto for 55 years and counting) fits this like a glove.

Putting a link to each of there websites, here, would have been a good idea, so all Tea Party members could help, in what ever way they can.

Jamie Radtke for Senate:

NOTE:  VA's primary is June 12, 2012

Sowards for U.S. Senate:

Dr. Carpenter has provided the link ^^^above^^^ for Ted Cruz

It's good to see the wheat being separated from the chaff.

Danny's request for web-sites is another indication of narrowing focus.

We can do this.

well said!

The runoff election for the senate seat in TX (Cruz vs. Dewhurst) is on July 31st, not June 29th

This is my argument against The Establishment and why they must be defeated -- or we must move on with our own party and let those few who will stay go to the Democrat Party where they'll be more at home, while the GOP slides off the edge into history.

Dewhurst is actively working with Democrats in Texas to thwart conservative legislation, according to this blog, and yet...he's the Establishment's candidate?

We can't work with this sort of thing.
