Yesterday was a day we in the conservative movement will need to remember for a very long time. It represents something we had better learn about and learn to deal with quickly.
What is it?
It was the shooting at the Family Research Council in DC.
It was left on right violence.
It is soon to be the new norm.
The 28-year-old suspect was a volunteer at a LGBTQ center in Virginia. He went into the headquarters of the Family Research Center in Washington, carrying a Chick-Fil-A bag, said something derogatory about the FRC and its mission and then opened fire.
These are facts you probably would not be aware of if your only source of information is the drive-by media.
The drive-bys were in overdrive mode not to mention the motives and relationships of the shooter. ABC News’ website was one of the worst offenders. Only a month ago, Brian Ross of ABC news was desperately trying to tie the Aurora Colorado shooting to the Tea Party.
On their website today, they referred to the shooting, but their story was about the guard who was a hero. A heroic guard makes a good story. There was not a word about the shooter, his relationships or his motivations.
Mitt Romney yesterday, almost immediately after the shooting released a detailed statement condemning the shooting. Only hours later did Barack Obama release a generic statement condemning violence. ABC News mentioned Obama’s statement but totally omitted Romney’s statement.
Across the drive-by media, the motivations of this shooter were never mentioned. It was all but impossible to find the story on CNN. MSNBC had the story but as with most of the other drive-by stories, it focused on the guard without any real mention of why the shooting took place.
The real story here is the rise of left on right violence.
The drive by media will not touch this story but this is what we must be concerned about.
From the very first days of the Tea Party movement, the drive-by media has longed for some instance of violence they could tie to the Tea Party.
In 2009, the Obama Regime released its infamous “Right wing extremism” report. Tea Party groups as well as conservative groups have been labeled “hate groups” by left wing hate groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Conservatives have been the victims of left wing violence. In 2009, Kenneth Gladney was beaten by leftist thugs in a St. Louis Tea Party event. More recently we have seen violence committed by the Occupy mobs.
Earlier this month we had Chick-Fil-A appreciation day. Millions of real Americans showed their support for the restaurant and the right of its management to express their own beliefs.
What was the left’s response? They wished people who supported Chick-Fil-A dead. While the drive-by media for the most part ignored Chick-Fil-A appreciation day, a couple of days later they were all over the gay protests at Chick-Fil-A, even though there were more media than protestors.
The left responded by vandalizing Chick-Fil-A restaurants. Again, the media ignored it.
Yesterday, the media could not ignore the shooting. So it was spun.
Three hours after the shooting, the Huffington Post was referring to the Family Research Council as a hate group.
Left wing media outlets and radical far left groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center are creating the hysteria that is the catalyst for violence. The blood is on their hands.
I wish I could say the shooting at the FRC yesterday was an isolated incident. It is not. It is an example of growing violence against conservatives in this nation.
Fortunately yesterday, no one died. Unfortunately, I fear it is only a matter of time before that happens.
The left is getting more desperate. They are seeing their power fade and the left must have power. They know they will lose the Senate and the White House in the election this fall and they are becoming more and more desperate.
For conservatives, the message is simple. We must be on our guard.
These are dangerous times for conservatives. Before this is all over, I fear there will not only be more violence against conservatives, I fear conservatives will be killed by some of these deranged far left wing activists.
In most cases, I like to be right in my predictions. In this one case, I pray I am very wrong.

Yes this does not surprise me at all, I have mention on a number of other blogs, that the violence is only going to get worse. Obama and his maxist left wing minions do not have enough educational skills to solve issues without the use of violence, I don't mean to sound like I am preaching but it is only going to get worse. You will see others as we get closer to the elections and there will be alot of big time violence starting 2 or 3 days before the election, election day, and the weeks to follow in bama loses.
Thanks, Ann, I also think, the union thugs and Black panthers, are (with bama's backing) stand ready to cause and create riots when the time comes and they are given the nod. This will be the excuse bama will use to declare martial law.

The Senate now writes their own laws, rather than following Constitutional process of the House writes, the Senate changes and sends back, or ratifies, then it goes to the President. Right now, the Senate re-wrote the health care bill, and the Senate is now writing bills any time they feel like it, Obama writes law with Executive Orders and by authorizing unconstitutionally favored government agencies such as the EPA to write massive amounts of rules and regulations, which essentially are laws. So if Obama wants to declare martial law, he will do so. There is no one stopping him now, an d no one will stop him then, and what's worse is he knows it.
