Just when you thought there could be no new record for stupidity set by someone in the Obama Regime, they manage to outdo themselves.
As Western Easter was celebrated last weekend, in Nigeria, a radical Islamist group attacked a Christian Church that was conducting Easter services. 39 died.
Then the Obama Regime got involved.
From CNS News:
Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson said Monday that “religion is not driving extremist violence” in Nigeria--just one day after a Christian church conducting an Easter service was targeted by a car bombing that left 39 dead.
Similarly, on Christmas Day, the Nigerian Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, attacked a Catholic church in that country, killing more than 40 people.
“I want to take this opportunity to stress one key point and that is that religion is not driving extremist violence either in Jos or northern Nigeria,” Assistant Secretary of State Carson said Monday at a forum on U.S. policy toward Nigeria held at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.
“While some seek to inflame Muslim-Christian tensions, Nigeria’s ethnic and religious diversity, like our own in this country, is a source of strength, not weakness,” he added, "and there are many examples across Nigeria of communities working across religious lines to protect one another.”
On Easter Sunday a church in Kaduna, Nigeria, was targeted by a suicide bombing that killed 39 and wounded dozens. Though no organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, it is suspected that Boko Haram, the Islamic terrorist organization, was behind it.
As CNSNews.com previously reported, Boko Haram, whose name translated into “Western education is forbidden,” has links to al-Qaeda’s North Africa affiliate, al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, and has repeatedly vowed to cleanse northern Nigeria of minority Christians, and is responsible for more than 1,000 deaths since mid-2009.
What the hell?
No of course Religion didn’t drive this group to attack a Christian Church on the holiest day of the Christian calendar. It was a neighborhood group complaining about the way the church parked its cars.
Where the hell does the Obama Regime get these people? Was there a sale at Morons R’ Us? Was this guy admitted to government service on an affirmative action program for idiots?
This is the problem with the Obama Regime. They are not simply stupid. They are dangerous.
While we have no compelling interest to involve us in Nigeria, we do have an interest in radical Islamists because they have attacked us repeatedly and will do so again if given the chance.
Unfortunately, the prime directive for the Obama Regime is to deny Islamic terror is involved in anything. The next thing this guy is going to say is that those people died from man made natural causes.
This is just another example why liberals should never again be elected to control government.

World Net Daily (WMD) has a petition to sign on Sheriff Joe's investigation. Its way past time to get rid of ZERO.

Besides all I have to do is pop anyone trying to torch my house
or my church. They will make themselves known by what they do.
...and if something does happen, EVERYbody will be carrying guns by then
This is, after all, Mississippi!

Do you know where Northeast Mississippi Community College is in Booneville?
I live about two blocks from it...
I like Huntsville, though. Lots of bookstores!
