It is time for the Republican Party of Virginia to expel Bill Bolling as a member of the Republican Party.

The Republican Party of Virginia has bylaws that call for the automatic expulsion of members who support Democrats in contested elections.  Bill Bolling’s support of Terry McAuliffe has been well documents.

This is from Breitbart, back in September:

On Friday, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, an association of leading businesses in the vote-rich area of the Commonwealth, was scheduled to endorse GOP candidate Ken Cuccinelli, through its PAC. The Washington Post reports, however, that the announcement was delayed after furious behind-the-scenes lobbying by the McAuliffe campaign to have the endorsement rescinded. Most surprising, however, is that GOP Lt. Gov Bill Bolling was among those lobbying the trade group on McAuliffe's behalf, against his fellow Republican.

The Post reported that the move "was the first public indication that Bolling, the Republican lieutenant governor who said he would not endorse Cuccinelli after being outmaneuvered by him in the primary fight, is actively pulling for McAuliffe."

Bolling, who had considered running as an Independent after realizing he couldn't win a GOP primary, is more "moderate" on issues than the conservative Cuccinelli.

This is an issue conservatives need to push in Virginia.  Conservatives are always told that we must suck it up and support the moderate Republican nominee, because if we don’t the Democrat will win.

Well, apparently that rule does not apply to moderates when a conservative is the nominee.

Had the Republican establishment not worked against Cuccinelli, he would be governor today.  Conservatives need to make an example of Bolling. He should be persona non grata at any Republican function in Virginia.  His name should be synonymous with being a sell out.

And if the Republican Party of Virginia does not publicly expel Bolling, then conservatives need to find a new political party in Virginia.

It is way past time for some discipline. There is some room for disagreement in a party but you can't be a traitor.

Right-on Judson - kick him to the curb.

TO ALL CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVES IN VIRGINIA WHO DID NOT VOTE. BY YOUR LACK OF ACTIONS YOU DESERVE THE GOVERNMENT YOU GET. GOOD LUCK - YOU WILL NEED IT.

Absolutely despicable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET the RINOS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accept for the 30 or so conservatives in Congress right now (and God bless them all), We essentially have had a one party system fo the last 40 years. They are all progressive socialist. In fact the "good ole boys" in the Republican Party hate them as much as the Democrats do. There is a leak that came to light on Glenn Beck radio first. In a closed door meeting, Mitch McConnell and John Bohnner told the new Senators to sit down & shut up, that they were acting like traitors with their fight for Leaving Obamacare out of the shutdown bill and that if they take one cent from ANY Tea Party group like Freedom works or the Senate Conservative Fund, he would take it very personal. Being what our Government is right now, I say, traitors against this Government fine, against our country, Hell NO! If this is the Republican Party, this can spell their doom & good riddance. Either the Republican Party gets behind the Tea Party movement or they WILL go the way of the Wigs. I also think that Obama's reign will be the Democrats legacy.
There is also the Bohnner letter where he said he would help the Dem's all he could to pass a clear shutdown bill ( include Obamacare). If the RINO Republican are going to back the Democrats anyway, what's to lose. We might as well TRY to flush the toilet now, there will probably never be a better chance than 2014-2016.
Personally, I think the conservatives under the name of the "Conservative Party", would have a much better chance to beat the Progressives because the people of this country are SO fed up with both parties. The name is self evident, unlike Tea Party, Green Party, independents, libertarians etc. Right now we have no numbers, we are a ship with no rudder, and running around in different directions chanting "We the People is what the Progressives love and we will NEVER win that way. The Progressives have bankrupt us financially, morally & spiritually.

Remember, "Defund the G0P! They do NOT work for you, the Democrats will kill themselves".

I would think that all those who support and defend the constitution could unite and form a united party.  The Demos are liberals which covers a vast majority of people who want something for nothing even though none of them realize with that attitude the country will implode.  How people can be enlightened is a huge challenge since there are so many outrageous lies that dominate and are perpetuated by progreesives and their news outlets.  It is a huge challenge which some great minds together can solve.

I would also like to add that the awful display of backbiting and dirty tatctics like the repubs did publicly this past presidential party nomination destroyed what ever integrity the party had , should not ever happen again.  The ones that gained by that was the opposition and now we suffer.

I am new to submitting posts to this group.  Posted a few in the past week, and will probably continue to do so.  I am what you would probably label as one of the many silent conservatives.  Have been very vocal within my circle of friends, family, and co-workers.  Love to discuss/debate politics and American History.

I have been following with much interest the post by Judson and others for quite awhile, but only recently decided to throw my hat into the discussions.  This topic of unifying conservative groups is what gets my blood flowing because I believe this is critical if we want to turn this Republic around and get back on track with constitutional principles.

Why do all these conservative groups continue to operate separately?  We have seen the futility of this path over and over again.  Can anyone say Ross Perot?

How do we go about unifying all our groups?

Can we all agree that if all our groups, who are for limited government, Free Enterprise, and Constitutional principles, were to unite that we would have the numbers to be a force to be reckoned with?

I think we would.  So how do we do it and why hasn't this been done already?  Are all these groups waiting for this Republic to reach rock bottom?  I surely hope not.  We make similar arguments about social programs like Welfare for example.  Welfare is heading towards bankruptcy, but the politicians do nothing.  Why not do something now rather than wait until the program is in dire straights?   Seems that politicians only act when we are in crisis.  Let us not follow that same path.

There needs to be a goal that all these groups can understand and support.  It has to be big and address the real threat; stopping progressivism?  All the conservative groups, if they are truly conservative, should support the idea of defeating the progressive agenda.  Then there needs to be a well laid out plan, with smaller goals, that are simple to follow and execute.  Social issues would be put aside!  Those can be debated later after we win this political war.  We ignore the RINOs.  If our plan is good, I believe many moderate Republican "voters" would support.

I agree with Barbara and Cameron that there needs to be a name for this united organized group of Libertarians, Constitutionalist, Tea Party, and other fiscal &/or social conservatives.  Here are my rough thoughts for what they are worth:

Main Goal:  Defeat the progressive agenda!

Supportive goal 1.  UNITE all the conservative groups NLT APR 2014.

Supportive goal 2.  Win XX (10+?) number of house seats in 2014, and take over majority rule in the Senate.

Supportive goal 3:  Win the presidential election in 2016, and add more House & Senate seats.

Supportive goal 4:  Pass term limits for House and Senate, Line item veto, defund or get rid of the Affordable Care Act, Secure the borders, consider elimination/rewrite of both the 16th (flat tax?) & 17th amendments, New policies for recalling/firing activist judges who violate their oath of office, etc.....

These are just ideas that would need a plan to follow so we can achieve each goal, focusing on #1 first, etc....

Summary:  If all our groups united, we would have the numbers!  With a shared goal we would be energized!  With a shared goal we will be focused and not get sidetracked by the progressive attack adds about social issues.  With this shared goal and unity, we would have high turnout at all elections.

OK, I understand all this may be pie in the sky but if these ideas keep getting posted and discussed in this and other conservative forums, the many smart folks that read and comment can eventually come up with a way ahead we can all sink our collective teeth into.

There is one thing I know.  If we continue to do what we have been doing over the past 25+ years, then we can all look forward to President Hillary Clinton and the end of our Republic as we know it.

SEMPER PARATUS!  :-)

Oh, and if you didn't get this from my post, I am a eternal optimist.  We all need to be this way.  Eternal optimism is worse than a virus.  It spreads like wildfire!  Eliminate the negative/defeatist thoughts.  They will get us nowhere.   :-)

James, you are right on. My thought is to have a couple of leaders from each conservative group meet for a discussion (more than one if need be) about how to get us united. Give us a name and an address to donate to. Welcome to the group.

AMEN!   GOP ELITE KEEPING TELLING US THEY HAVE A WINNING MESSAGE BUT SOME HOW IT NEVER GETS OFF THE GROUND!    BUT REALLY WHAT ELSE IS NEW?  WE HAVE KNOWN THIS IS THE WAY THE MODERATE GOP TREATS CONSERVATIVES BEFORE AND AFTER BEING ELECTED... WHY THE SURPRISE!  WHERE IS THAT JACKASS WHO KEEPS TELLING US WE MUST WORK WITHIN THE PARTY...  WHEN THE PARTY PISSES ALL OVER YOU ROSE BUSHES? TIME TO LET THE GOP ESTABLISHMENT TWIST IN THE WIND LIKE THEY DO TO CONSERVATIVES.  NO PARTICIPATION, NO MONEY, NO VOTES, PERIOD.   GOP ESTABLISHMENT ALWAYS MANAGES TO FIND ITS BACKBONE WHEN IT MEETS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT.

DOESN'T TELL US A LOT ABOUT THEIR MODE OF OPERATION?  BOEHNER IS ALWAYS UNDECIDED UNTIL FORCED BY GOP SENATE TO SURRENDER AND SUBMIT TO THE "HIGHER" BODY.

God help us please!
