Does anyone in the Obama regime actually think things through?
Anyone with three functioning brain cells could have figured a few things out. One of which is there would be absolute chaos if Kaddafi were over thrown in Libya and because like a lot of dictators, Kaddafi liked to buy some really expensive weapons, some of them would fall into the hands of some not very nice people.

Defeated in battle, Moammar Kaddafi’s army left behind armories brimming with weapons, and the rebels have helped themselves. It's not just guns that have been plundered. Almost every outpost captured by opposition forces has yielded weapons, everything from AK-47 assault rifles to grenades to surface-to-air missiles (SAMs). And the rebels tell ABC News that they don't have enough resources to safeguard them all -- which means they may wind up in the hands of people who have other agendas than defeating Kaddafi.
On Thursday we visited an army base in Tripoli, and found the grounds littered with SAMs. Some were stored in concrete bunkers, others lay in open shipping containers, there for the taking. The base looked like it had been battered by NATO airstrikes, but nearly all the missiles we found remained undamaged, their warheads intact. The front gate of the base was wide open, and we were able to drive in without being stopped.
According to Peter Bouckaert, emergencies director at Human Rights Watch, the weapons the looters want most, and take first, are the SAMs.
HRW estimates there are 20,000 surface-to-air missiles in Libya, and many of those are now missing. Some are recent Russian-made SAMs, capable of shooting down aircraft flying as high as 11,000 feet.
"They have no military use in this war," said Bouckaert. "Kaddafi is not flying any airplanes, he's not flying any helicopters. So why are people looting these very powerful and dangerous missiles?
Oh I don’t know, could I possibly guess a reason?
Islamic terrorists are known to be in leadership positions among the Libyan rebels. What could they possibly want to do? Perhaps share them with Al-Qaeda and let Al-Qaeda use them against passenger airliners?
Given our porous southern border, along with the tons of marijuana and cocaine that are smuggled into the Southwest, how hard would it be to smuggle some of those SAM’s into Arizona?
How hard would it be to get those weapons near a major airport? A plane landing or taking off would have no chance. It probably would not know about the missile until it exploded, killing all on board.
While no conservative wanted America involved in this war that we have no interest in, can someone please tell me why the Obama regime did not send the military in to destroy the Libyan arsenals? Certainly Libyan defectors could have told us where the munitions were. The looters had no trouble finding them.
If a Libyan missile in the future shoots down an American airliner, this will be another tragedy that belongs right at the feet of Barack Obama.

First of all, why is the assumption that the consequences are unintended? Considering current White House (p)resident's anti-American and anti-Israel policies, I think this is exactly what the plan was: to create chaos and arm muslim terrorists, both against the US and against Israel. I am almost sure those SAMs will soon show up in Gaza.
And it is very possible that the next flotilla with load of SAMs ("humanitarian help") will be headed towards Gaza, under protection of Turkish navy.

I can't help wondering the same thing. This administration has been so consistent in acting in the interests of militant islam, both at home and abroad. It just doesn't seem like much of a stretch, anymore, to infer some intent when the U.S. "unintentionally" aids the Muslim Brotherhood or other organizations.

I stopped wondering long time ago. There is no doubt in my mind that he is the enemy (literally) working from within to destroy USA as we know it. I would not be surprised at all if BHO is a member of Muslem Brotherhood.

They say that it was a revolt by the people, when in fact it was the MB behind all the attacks in Egypt and Libya.. And today no infidels are alive in Egypt today, The same thing is going on in Libya but our great Media will not cover it to stay PC... With Obama`s help the MB have taken over Libya, an all their arms are now in the hands of islamic terrorist muslim. Now they will take the arms and attack Israel and bring them into America, for when the Muslim in Chief, calls for them to attack American targets. Since most of those in the white house are Muslims, guess just who they are going to work for.. The American people an the US, or are they working for an support of the terrorist that want to turn the USA into another third world county like the middle east.... All because the Media will not tell the American people the truth of what is really going on in world, and what the Islamic Muslims are doing in America....

Considering how successful our military was in Iraq and Afghanistan, do you really think that the US should have intervened by sending in troops to locate the weapons? If there are thousands then they would only have to miss a few for terrorists to use them. I am new to the Tea Party but I thought it was for less government spending and less government involvement in foreign affairs. It seems to me that the only thing you care about is about is finding something wrong with anything Obama does even if it goes against our core principles. I am not interested in the "we hate Obama Party," but am interested in finding an organization that is trying to build America's future.

It all depends on what kind of America's future you are talking about.
If you are talking about upholding the Constitution and Bill of Rights, returning to solid fiscal policies, creating jobs, etc, then the very first mandatory step is to remove this usurper in the White House ASAP. As long as Obama is in control, there is no chance for USA to recover.

Could it be because our Commander in Chief is not on America's side? Still don't know why the whole country hasn't figured this out. When will we get it? When this country is taken over by the Muslim's? Too late then people. Every move he makes, he makes it perfectly clear what he's doing. I'm sick of everyone giving him the benefit of doubt. How about the House do a blitz on bills and send them over to the Senate. Let them sit there. Be sure to get it out whatever way we can that the bills are collecting dust in the Senate. We cannot sit for another year and do nothing.
