When organizations offer charitable grants, too often, conservatives simply look the other way. The left has become a master at getting these grants and then using them to push their social and political agenda on the poor.
The obvious question is, why aren’t conservatives doing this.
Here is an opportunity to do just that. Dominion Energy’s charitable foundation is offering $1 million in grants, with the maximum being $25,000, to help in communities where there are critical needs, such as housing, medical care, and other needs.
Charitable giving is a good thing and leveraging grants given by large corporations simply makes sense. If you live in Connecticut, Idaho, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wyoming, your group can apply for one of these grants.
Never should the conservative movement cede the field to the left. Here is an opportunity to go into some communities, help out and offer them the conservative message of freedom and liberty.
If you are interested in having your group apply for one of these grants, go to https://www.dominionenergy.com/communityneedsgrants. The deadline is May 31 to apply.
